   2. From your use of the Careerlane.net Services and/or the Careerlane.net Websites
      1. We collect personal information directly from you when you choose to engage any of the Careerlane.net Services and/or to use the Careerlane.net Websites. The following are examples of personal information Careerlane.net may collect directly from you:-

         3. Telephone number or mobile number;

         5. Academic qualifications;
         6. dentification documents given by the school/college/university/institute;

      2. If you choose to add referees to your resume, Careerlane.net will ask you for their names, telephone numbers, emails, position titles and other relevant particulars. This information will be enclosed as part of your job application and employers may contact them to get references for your applications.
      3. If you choose to use Careerlane.net Services to tell a friend about its services or Careerlane.net Websites, Careerlane.net will ask for your friend’s name and e-mail address. An e-mail inviting your friend to use the Careerlane.net Services or to visit the Careerlane.net Websites will be sent to him/her automatically.
      4. If you wish to stop Careerlane.net from processing this type of personal information about you, Careerlane.net will no longer be able to provide the relevant services to you.
      5. In addition, Careerlane.net may ask your permission to post your testimonial or success story.       10. To investigate and resolve any of the Careerlane.net Services, billing queries, complaints or other enquiries that you submit to Careerlane.net regarding Careerlane.net Services;
      11. To manage staff training and quality assurance;
      12. To monitor and improve the performance of the Careerlane.net Websites and the Careerlane.net Services;
      13. To maintain and develop the Careerlane.net Websites and Careerlane.net Services;
      14. To gain an understanding of your information and communication needs in order for Careerlane.net to enhance and customize the Careerlane.net Services;
      15. To conduct research and development and statistical analysis in connection with the Careerlane.net Services to identify trends and develop new services that reflect your interests;

   3. Careerlane.net will ask for your consent before processing your personal information other than those set out in Clause 2.1.
   4. In addition, Careerlane.net may use your personal information for the following purposes:

         1. Other Careerlane.net Services; or
         2. Services of third parties which Careerlane.net thinks may be of interest of you;

3. RESUME

   1. Careerlane.net gives you the option of putting your resume in the Careerlane.net Resume Database provided that you use Careerlane.net’s preset format for uploading your resume. There are two ways of doing so:
      1. You can store your resume in the Careerlane.net Resume Database, but not allow it to be searchable by potential Employers or Advertisers. Not allowing your resume to be searchable means that you can use it to apply for a job online, but Employers or Advertisers will not have access to search it through the Careerlane.net Resume Database.
      2. You can allow your resume to be searchable by Employers or Advertisers. When you opt to make your resume searchable, your full resume and personal information will be visible to Employers or Advertisers or who download your resume from Careerlane.net Resume Database.
   2. Careerlane.net uses its best effort to restrict access to the Careerlane.net Resume Database only to those who have subscribed to the Careerlane.net Services, these parties may retain a copy of your resume in their own files or databases.
   3. Careerlane.net will take reasonable steps to ensure that parties other than those mentioned above will not, without Careerlane.net’s consent, gain access to the Careerlane.net Resume Database. However, Careerlane.net is not responsible for the retention, use or privacy of resume by any third parties.
   4. Notwithstanding Clause 3.1, Careerlane.net reserves the right to have full access to your resume for the purpose set out in Clause 2.1 to perform Careerlane.net Services.

4. CHOICE AND ACCESS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

   1. You may have different privacy concerns. Careerlane.net’s goal is to be clear of what information it collects, so that you can make meaningful choices about how it is used. For example:
      1. You can control who you share your personal information with;
      2. You can review and control your subscription to various marketing preferences, Careerlane.net Services;
      3. You may view, edit or delete your personal information and preferences at any time.
      4. You may choose not to receive any marketing materials from Careerlane.net;

You are responsible for providing accurate, not misleading, complete and up-to-date information to Careerlane.net about yourself and any other person whose personal information you provide us and for updating this personal information as and when it becomes inaccurate, misleading, incomplete and out-of-date by contacting Careerlane.net.
   2. In the circumstances you may need to provide to Careerlane.net personal information about someone other than yourself (for example, your referee or guarantor). If so, we rely on you to inform these individual that you are providing their personal information to Careerlane.net, to make sure they consent to you giving us their information and to advise them about where they can find a copy of this Privacy Notice (on our website at Privacy Policy)

7. TRANSFER OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF YOUR LOCAL JURISDICTION

   1. It may be necessary for Careerlane.net to transfer your personal information outside of your local jurisdiction if any of Careerlane.net’s service providers or strategic partners (“overseas entities”) is involved in providing part of the Careerlane.net Services.
