Job Description

1. Scope of working: Soundman role is to assemble, operate and maintain the technical equipment used to record, amplify, enhance, mix or reproduce sound. 2. Duties & responsibilities: - Assessing the acoustics of the performance area and assembling and operating the necessary equipment; - Consulting with producers and performers to determine the sound requirements; - Selecting, positioning, adjusting and operating the equipment used for amplification and recording; - Applying technical knowledge of sound recording equipment to achieve the determined artistic objectives; - Recording sound onto digital audio tape or hard disk recorders; - Monitoring audio signals to detect sound-quality deviations or malfunctions; - Anticipating and correcting any problems; - Maintaining and repairing sound equipment. - Other work as direct assigned by Director of Photography/Managing Director. 3. Working Days and Hours - Monday to Friday : 8:00am to 12:00am & 1:00pm to 5:00pm - Saturday : 8:00am to 12:00am 4. Requirement

5. Qualification & requirement: - At least 1 or more years of work experience of Media Production Company. - Able to work in multiple locations, including recording studios and on site location and provinces. - Good understanding of the physics of sound, technical aural skills - Broad knowledge of current sound technology and equipment, - Excellent communication skills and acute attention to detail. - Good sense of working as a team player, Problem-solving ability; - Good sense of timing and swift reactions. - Able to work under pressure and time constraint. 6.
